Amusement Parks (weather): First theme park or amusement ride mecca to have a geodesic dome over its...

...entirety.  "Amusement ride mecca" means a destination where numerous amusement rides congregate but are not owned by a single corporate entity (e.g., Walt Disney World).  Wisconsin Dells is an example of an amusement ride mecca.  To win this challenge, the geodesic dome must have a diameter of at least three miles.  [Such a geodesic dome will become an attraction in and of itself in addition to enabling patrons to enjoy the rides regardless of what the weather is like outside the dome.  Outside the dome, it could be raining, cold, hot, windy, foggy, or snowing.  Within the dome, its temperature can be kept at a consistent enjoyable level.  By placing lighting fixtures on the underside of the dome, it can also make night into day and cloudy gloomy days into sunny days.  On hot days, it can vent the top and allow air in along the bottom rim which will cool down the entire dome and further help cool patrons with a gentle breeze.  On cold days, the vents could be closed and all the human bodies, machinery, and appliances inside the dome will help heat it up to the point where additional heating might not be necessary.]

Future Challenges:

1) First theme park or amusement ride mecca to have a geodesic dome over it as outlined in the above original challenge and have an observational car ride the inside of the dome to its top and then down its other side.

2) Same as Future Challenge #1 but the dome car stops at the top of the dome and lets bungee jumpers jump out of it.  Once all the jumpers have jumped and have been reeled back into the car, the car descends down the other side of the dome.

3) Same as FC #1 but the dome car stops at the top of the dome and lets BASE jumpers jump out of it.  Once all the jumpers have jumped, the car descends down the other side of the dome.

4) In addition to FC #1, the dome has an observational station at the top of the dome that has a clear plexi-glass floor.  The dome car stopping at this observatory, dropping off its passengers, and picking up the passengers it dropped off last time.

5) In addition to FC #1, the dome having a restaurant located at its top that has a clear plexi-glass floor for its dining room.  The tables in the dining room also made out of clear plexi-glass and no table cloth put over the tables so diners can look through them to the ground far below.

6) First TV documentary about the design and construction of such a geodesic dome.
