Japan (women): First major Japanese corporation (1,000 employees or more) which gives a 10% bonus to...

...its female workers who agree in writing to always wear a kimono to work.  [This would be a way for the non-tourist business community to help Japan's tourism industry (thus why this challenge is located in the Entertainment category) and show national pride.  The more tourist dollars that comes into Japan, the more dollars that there are to go around to everyone, including the non-tourist businesses.]


Future Challenges:

1) First taxi company (25 cars or more in fleet) in Japan to give a 50% fare discount to any passenger or group of passengers where all of the female Japanese passengers are wearing traditional kimonos.

2) First Japanese city to have its public transportation system allow Japanese women and girls wearing traditional kimonos to ride for free.

3) First Japanese public passenger train system that allows Japanese women and girls wearing traditional kimonos to ride for free and where at least one train car is only for Japanese women and girls wearing traditional kimonos.  After showing their passports and visas at the ticket office, foreign tourists can purchase tickets to ride in this train car.  The kimono train car(s) must be at the front of the train.

4) First Japanese city with a population of at least 100,000 to give a 10% bonus to its female government office workers who agree in writing to always wear a kimono to work.

5) First Japanese province to give a 10% bonus to its female government office workers who agree in writing to always wear a kimono to work.

First radio talk show hostess in Japan to champion this challenge, only wears a kimono while at work, and gets the:

6) CEO of a Japanese corporation with at least 1,000 employees to come onto her show and officially announce their corporation will give all of its female employees a 10% salary bonus if they agree in writing to only wear kimonos to work and then do so.

7) CEO of a taxi company to come onto her show and officially announce that her/his company will, from that moment forward, be giving a 50% fare discount to any passenger or group of passengers where all of the female Japanese passengers are wearing traditional kimonos.

8) Mayor of a Japanese city come onto her show and officially announce that the mayor's city will allow Japanese women and girls wearing traditional kimonos to ride for free on its public transportation system.

9) Mayor of a Japanese city with a population of at least 100,000 to come onto her show and officially announce that their city will give all its female government workers a 10% salary bonus if they agree in writing to only wear kimonos to work and then do so.

10) Top official of a Japanese province to come onto her show and officially announce that their province will give all its female government workers a 10% salary bonus if they agree in writing to only wear kimonos to work and then do so.

11) CEO of a Japanese passenger train system to come onto her show and officially announce that her/his passenger train system will allow Japanese women and girls wearing traditional kimonos to ride for free and that at least one passenger car (always located at the front of the train) is only for Japanese women and girls wearing traditional kimonos and that, after showing their passports and visas, foreign tourists can purchase tickets to ride in that passenger train car.

12) CEOs of 100 Japanese corporations with at least 1,000 employees to individually come onto her show and officially announce their corporations will give all of their female employees a 10% salary bonus if they agree in writing to only wear kimonos to work and then do so.
