Las Vegas: First mile-high casino hotel in Las Vegas. Its elevators must be cable-less, use...

...electro-magnetic repulsion acceleration, and only use three shafts (up, down, and “floor” [stop]; the elevators shift between the shafts like cars on a street with the middle “lane” being the “floor” shaft).  The highest floor must be a free public observatory deck for as long as the building is the tallest in Las Vegas.  [Bringing "back" the world's tallest building to the US will also make the USA view Las Vegas more favorably.  A little patriotic pride helping Sin City counter some of the public's negative perceptions of the city.  That and this will bring the tourism city a lot of free international publicity.]

Future Challenges: First Las Vegas casino hotel to be at least as many miles high as:

1) A mile and based on Frank Lloyd Wright’s “The Illinois” design.

2) A mile and have an atrium that is high and wide enough to fit the Empire State Building (including its antenna) inside it.  The atrium can have a center support staff running up through it, which can also have elevators to the upper floors.  The upper half of the atrium must be ringed with hotel rooms that have balconies facing into the atrium.

3) Same as #2 and first to have a BASE jumper (dressed as Elvis) successfully jump it.  The jump must be done AFTER the skyscraper is officially open to the public.  [Expect the jumpers to spiral around the atrium’s center staff as they descend on their parachutes.]

4) Same as #2 and first to have hourly shows of professional base jumpers (all dressed as Elvis, including any female jumpers) jump it both during the daytime and at night.  First jump at noon and last at midnight.

5) Same as #2 and first to allow certified amateur base jumpers to pay to jump it.  All jumpers must dress as Elvis for their jumps.

6) A mile with at least some of its elevators glass-enclosed and located on the skin of the building so passengers can see the world as they go up and down.

7) Two miles high.

8) Two with a mile-high atrium.  The upper part of the atrium must be ringed with hotel rooms starting at a height higher than the Empire State Building is tall and must have balconies that face into the atrium.

9) Same as #8 and first to have a professional base jumper (dressed as Elvis) jump and not release her/his parachute until s/he has passed the last ring of hotel rooms.

10) Three miles high.  [Punching through the jet stream.]

11) Three and to incorporate super-high-speed wind turbines, which will be powered by the jet stream and will fully power the skyscraper.

12) Four miles high.

13) Five.

14) Six.

15) Seven.

16) Eight.

17) Nine.

18) Ten.

First Las Vegas radio talk show host to champion this challenge and:

19) Get the CEO of a Las Vegas casino resort on their show and officially announce they are hiring an architectural firm to draw up blueprints and perspectives for at least a mile-high casino resort skyscraper on The Strip.  The budget for the architectural job must be at least $1 million.

20) Get the CEO of a Las Vegas casino resort on their show and officially announce they going to build at least a mile-high casino resort skyscraper on The Strip, that they have received all permits to do so, have the money to do so, and can give both the day the ground will be officially broken for the construction and the building's completion date.

21) As soon as a casino resort skyscraper has even the first floor partially done, the radio talk show host starts doing her/his regular show from the highest floor of the building until it reaches its full height and then continues to broadcast her/his show from the highest floor until it is officially opened to the public.

22) While dressed as Elvis, base jump from the top of the casino resort skyscraper while before, during and after doing their radio show live.

23) While dressed as Elvis, base jump inside the casino resort skyscraper from the highest floor possible while before, during and after doing their show live.

24) While dressed as Elvis, base jump inside a casino resort skyscraper that is at least two miles high and from the highest floor possible while before, during and after doing their show live AND, before releasing their chutes, perform a professional-grade magic trick with a professional magician or magic duo (e.g., Penn & Teller), who will also base jump with the host, they also not releasing their chutes until after the trick is done, and they must also be dressed as Elvis.  To win this future challenge, this stunt must be broadcast live on at least one US broadcast or cable TV network.
