...Michelin Guide and a 5-Star rating from the Forbes Travel Guide AFTER having the fully automated kitchen installed.  [It wouldn’t be surprising if fast food restaurant chains fund this research so they can later claim the fully-automated kitchen used by the 3-MG-star and 5-FTG-star restaurant is the same one they use for their fast food restaurant chain.]  To win this challenge, the machine must be installed in a real-life fine restaurant, operate continuously for at least 1,000 hours without error or malfunction, and serve at least 10,000 food dishes to paying customers.

Future Challenges: First 3-MG-star and 5-FTG-star restaurant to use a:

1) Robot to bus its tables.

2) Self-service order taking system that eliminates the need for a human waiter.

3) Robot to deliver meals to tables.

4) System that does all the above and has a no-tipping policy.

First cruiseline to install a fully automated kitchen system that a land-based restaurant has received 3-star rating from the Michelin Guides and a 5-star from the Forbes Travel Guide onto:

5) One of their cruise ships.

6) All of their cruise ships.

7) All of their ships replacing all kitchens on those ships.

First navy to install a fully automated kitchen system that a land-based restaurant has received 3-star rating from Michelin Guides and a 5-star from the Forbes Travel Guide onto:

8) One of their aircraft carriers.

9) One of their submarines.

10) All of their naval ships that have crews of more than 50 sailors.
